Weaver Grand Slam

I stopped in a local gun shop and noticed they had good deals on Weaver Scopes. I looked at a 3-9 40 MM Grand Slam for $199. For 100 more a Super Slam. They said the boxes were marked wrong and ATI sold them cheap rather than rebox them. H & H Sports does sell Nationwide on Gun brokers and eBay.
Anyway how theses scopes compare to a Leupold or Nikon etc.
You am pretty sure these are decent scope at a great price. Agreed?

grand slam is supposed to compare more or less to vx2 quality, super slam to vx3.

Thanks. I bought the Grand Slam. I couldn't see the difference and it was smaller and lighter for my compact rifle. I really like it. Guess my eyes can't tell the difference.

One of my all-time favorites is the Weaver V3. Have two mounted, and one in the cabinet in the box in case they are discontinued.

You're going to be happy with it.

Are they made in Japan? I am a huge fan of the Japanese made Weavers.

Natchezss usually seems to have the line on Weaver closeouts/clearance.

I've got two grand slams and think they are excellent, perhaps the best there is under $500.
