If it were me, (it was at one time) I would look hard at the Liberty Mystic X (http://libertycans.net/mystic-x/).
I figured a good 9mm can that can handle the rifles I might shoot out weighed the 45cal can for now.
If you have a question about a caliber for the Mystic X that isn't listed, send them an email and ask. I wanted to know if it was safe for full power 35 Remington, it is. Not many 9mm cans can do that.
You will end up with more than a couple suppressors/silencers/cans in your safe, it just a question of which one first.
