I would love to pick up a Webley Mk VI .455. However, except for pictures, I have never even seen one, and I go to a lot of gun shows here in Oklahoma. Can someone give me an idea about what price they go for in very good or better condition?

An un rechambered excellent MK VI goes for $600 these days:eek:
You might find a nice .45acp one for $400-500 and it would actually be more practical IMHO.:)

There are two for sale on the other auction site, GB. Both in original caliber, one passable @ $300 and one with better finish for $500. As you may know, the ones in .455 will bring more in comparable shape than the ones in .45 ACP or .45 Colt.

Mine was somewhat of a ''rescue'' and I had to strip it down and finally reassemble after a multi stage cold blue. It looks better than it is tho still a very fair specimen.

I replaced mainspring and also the break-top lever spring - that latter from Brownells being adequate functionally but a very poor match for the original "V" leaf.

It performs well with my light loads in Fiocchi brass and 230 grain LRNs kept larger than usually used for .45acp. DA is good tho heavy - they all are - but SA if hammer cocked back too far tends to bind - some sorta sear issue I think. True a really clean one will be good money - even I reckon up towards four figures if top grade. I think mine is probably worth about $300 - $350.
