Welcome Back, Mr. Nightcrawler

this story does remind me of the Wheel of Time series. Once you start, you're hooked.
Is that still going on? I read like 4-5 of those a long time (staring like a decade) ago and gave up. I can hang with a trilogy...but those never end. Great books though, just wish there weren't so many.

This will have an ending soon...I can feel it. ;)

Thanks for the new chapter counting both post as one Ch.

Springmom WOT is a great series got hooked back in college read the first four books in a week almost tanked a semester getting caught up.

Speak of counting?

So what is the total word, page, and letter count so far for this novel?

And it is actualy only 18 posts till 1k.

So, product placement has been a problem for me.

For one, I'm going to order an Ops Inc can. Two, I need me one of them FAL carbines.
Three, and this is important, the Valdada scope.

I think that now, this is officially, the longest THR Thread ever.

Oh, you know what else? Everyone else was wrong, it's only 15 more posts to 1,000! :neener:

aw, come on, guys

Please don't run up the post count just to get it to 1000. I, along with many others (I'm sure) get email notifications every time a post is listed here. And of course I follow the email link to check each time. It's a PITA when it's just crap running up the total.

Springmom

Keep em coming

Just a bump to push this thread closer to 1000 posts. That and I need a fix......... This really does need to be published when finished. I'll at least buy 2 copies, one to reread and one to loan out. Sorry springmom.

On a more relevant topic, to pick nits, I just cant quite buy the Hildabeast and MMoore being part of a secret ruling elite that stear world events and such. While I firmly belive they have high enough opinions of themselves to be part of this ultra top level sooper secret cabal to rule the world, they just aren't there IMNSHO.

Bumps to push for 1000 posts will be deleted

NC said that he would be doing an update on Thursday or Friday. I've only got one more, and I need him to go first.

Sorry guys.

And Hillary is one of the evil cabal. Michael Moore is just a pawn. However you write for your audience, and where else can you find fiction where somebody beats the hell out of Michael Moore? :) You've got to give the people what they want.

Just finished reading your earlier effort 'So There I Was Again (Not Very Serious)'. You, sir have more talent in your little finger than some of the other authors have in their whole bodies. Move over Ludlum (sorry, he's dead), there's a new author in town, and his keyboard is SMOKIN'. Keep up the great work, mate. Ripping good read.

I was directed to this story from Impact Guns forums. Like the rest of you I've read through it on the edge of my seat. I assumed that it was finished since it was linked as a "Great Story". Only to find out when I got to the end that I'd be waiting just like the rest of you!

My reasoning for posting is to offer some insight. I agree that this would make an excellent novel or screenplay. If NC and Correia are not trying to send it out to a bunch of publishers (to possibly await rejection). They could always self publish with LuLu.com. Which allows you to print the books as they are ordered, and equates out to probably less than $10 per book. With NO investment on their part. I'm a graphic/web designer as well so I'd gladly offer up my services for a website to sell the book or some cool cover art.

Also, I do business with a company owned by the guy who owns Morgan Creek Productions. The woman I deal with has a loose connection to him. I know it's not much, but once the stories done, and somebody pieces it all together, I'd be glad to pass a copy on to her to see what she can do. Let me know. Sorry for rambling on, but hopefully I said something worth hearing. Thanks again guys for the great read!

Sorry that is my fault I am the one that posted it on the Impact forum. Welcome to THR!

Too good for movies

The more I read this story, (the more i like it) the more I feal that it is too good for movies. Practically every movie created from a good book has never reached the full potentcy of the book. IE, movie people would **** this up. Established movie people would especially **** the story over. Dialog would get changed, characters would get beutified/marginalized and somehow all the magazines would have infinite ammo except as a plot device to put the good guy in a bind.

We need a better way of telling this story in a visual format. I'm almost thinking about a mini-series released on the net. But I don't know how to make the $$ for our authors that way.

Later, and remember to rock out with yer glock out.

Friday?!? I can't wait that long for more action packed, lib bashing, techinically correct online fiction!

'Fraid you guys are going to have to. Working 12 hour shifts sucks. Friday I'm off.

Lib bashing. Have I done any liberal bashing? NC's politics...what party do you belong to after the government tries to kill you?

Video Podcast??? Of course the budget would be a little out of control....

LimitedReality, I just looked up Morgan Creek Productions. Yes, feel free to pass along anything you want. When this is finished we will put out a cleaned up version in a document form.

Where is BluesBear?

Speaking of "cleaned up," has anyone, other than me, missed the BluesBear post-episode commentary? I can't even find his name in the THR Member's List now. Does anyone know what has happened to him? I miss his hilarious thoughts after NC and Correia make their posts.

There was a discussion at one time whether or not his contributions should become part of the written finished copy if this story went to print and since then he hasn't posted his commentary.

------------

Edited to add: I checked back through the thread and BluesBear last posted at #882 on Aug. 20. Correia posted an episode at #919, NC at #952 & #962 and BluesBear did not make a post after any of those.
