Well i went bot the Remmy '58 brasser.

I thot by the pics that were sent to me that it was 7.5" er but it's a 5.5"er. Sweeeet !!!
Bore looks good, she aint super tight but she's more than acceptable. Cylinder gap, ( fired), is non existent.
The crud yer seein on 'er is left over Brasso from that knucklehead takin off 'er 35 y/o patina :banghead:
She's got jist a wee a bit o' that 'dusty' rust in 3 of 'er cylinders but that'll come right out with a .38 mop loaded with Flitz chucked in a cordless drill.
Her trigger is CRISP CRISP CRISP !!!
I still gotta check and make sure there's no frozen nipples and git 'er all cleaned up.
She came with 'bout half a box ( 'bout 50 er so) o' FIE .375 round balls.
Box looks as old as her.So maybe she wasn't shot all that much.
There's a .222 Rem Mag case cut down to 'bout an inch in length in the box so maybe that was a powder measure. I'll hafta check it's volume.

Heck, jist the other day i saw a real nice Redhawk 7.5"er fer only $550. Caint touch one at a GS fer under $800 'round here.
This fella sells, and buys, used guns for what they are actualy worth. Not what the likes of GB gouges 'em to.

I gotta confes fellas. I should o' added the fact that, ...remember that no name italin brasser Navy i bot a while back that needs a stop spring? ,I used that as a barterin chip today.
Turns out that no name possibly had a chain fire that set the cylinder so far back into the brass that it opened up the cylinder gap to over .030.
I told the fella at the GS that it's pretty much a wall hanger now,or another chain fire waitin to happen, ( but i have a reserection idea ), and he worked with me real good on the price today.
If my plan works i should get my $ back out o' that Navy and still come in under $100 on today's '58.
