I have always loved Milt Sparks, and for the most part I don't use anyone else anymore unless Tony and his crew don't make a holster for a specific application that I need. At any rate I already had a holster order USP full size 45 and decided if I was going to order another holster for my new P2000SK, I might as well get all my foreseeable holster needs out of the way due to the constant backlog I encounter when I order one holster at a time. I ended up ordering 3 more holsters and one additional mag pouch, for a grand total of 2 mag pouches and 4 holsters on the way from Sparks!

I ordered the following:
  • I-BAK - USP 45
  • Versa-Max 2 - P2000SK
  • Versa-Max 2 - USP 45
  • BN55 - P2000SK
  • Single Mag Pouch - P2000SK
  • Double Mag Pouch - USP 45

I had been carrying one of my 1911's in a VM2 for years and loved it, so I was thrilled that Scott at Milt Sparks said this would be the best design for both of my IWB applications. I would have ordered a new double thick belt from Sparks, but my old one is just as good as the day I bought it around 3 or so years ago.

At any rate, Im thrilled and I just couldnt be happier with the service and quality I get from these guys. :D

I was quoted at 22 weeks, but they were kind enough to add these holsters to the rest of my order which will make my overall order take some extra time, but I wont have to wait an additional 22 weeks luckily.

It's going to be a very long wait but you'll be pleased when they arrive. Every one will be perfect and will fit each gun like a well worn glove. Yes, I'm a big fan of Milt Sparks holsters. :)

I called Milt Sparks to try to add on to my order but they told me the holster I ordered was set to ship today so I couldn't modify it. Too bad I sold the pistol that the holster will be for last week. My order was placed on Feb. 28th if that'll give you guys an idea of the wait time. I was quoted 16-22 weeks. Today marks 21 weeks and by the time it shows up, it'll be almost 22 weeks. The good news is that I already found a buyer for the holster.

hope your not planning on putting them under the Christmass tree....

my guess is that when you call in 22 weeks they'll just be filling the orders placed in June.

I gave up, cancelled my order at MS and got a Don Hume....shipped w/in 3 weeks.

The guys at Milt Sparks were great to deal with....I wish I had a business like theirs.....more customers than they can shake a stick at.

I was lucky. I found a genuine Milt Sparks "Summer Special" for my GLOCK G19 hidden in the back of a BIG rack of holsters in a newly-purchased existing gunshop. The plastic-bag packaging was cloudy & brittle and it obviously had been in inventory for a LONG time. I asked the new owner if he would sell me "this old holster"? He asked what the price tag said and I replied "It's hard to read but I think $75". He said "Sure, $50 out the door". Needless to say, I very much enjoy my Summer Special.

Thanks a lot, now I'll have to wait even longer.
;)

I have a rather heavy Combat Commander-sized 1911 and wonder if the Heritage would be stable enough, or should I just go to the VM2?

did you check lightning arms sport first? they carry lots of M.S stuff in stock.....
