checked out their selection of revolvers. This shop has a habit of overpricing some guns and being fair on others. So I spy a six inch barreled blue Colt Trooper Mk III, easily 98% condition for $400, fair, but I don't need another six inch 357. A S&W model 19, pinned and recessed, again, 98% condition with a four inch barrel for $350, fair price, but I already have a well broken in four inch 19. Now what do my eyes find but a S&W model 28 Highway Patrolman! It was wearing Pachmayer presentation stocks, had some scratches and nicks, about 85% of the finish remaining and a four inch barrel for only $400!!!! :what:

The clerk asks if there is anything I want to see, I reply that I am just browsing and need to get home. :scrutiny:

The 19 price is OK by me, but the other two are WAY high, like $100 over what they should be. The local shop closest to me is like that, VERY few reasonable prices.
