Western Field Mod 30 Issues

Have acquired a Western field mod 30 and after full cleaning and lube, the extractor will not eject spent shell. Also had small piece(shaped bout an 1/8 to 1/4 in long with hole in middle and half circle cut on one end) fall out that i cannot identify or see where it goes. Looked at the schematic on the Stevens site and it doesn't show it. Anybody know of a better schematic than that and any ideas of what might be keeping ejector from working, id greatly appreciate it.

Could be your ejector plunger. A picture would really help you get an answer.

id love to but i cant at the moment limited access to computer right now anybody know of a more detailed schematic other than the one u can buy? an actual one that shows where the pieces go to so i know the name of the one im describing. thanks in advance

Both of my Westernfields are really Mossbergs...

Find out who really made your gun and then look that companies equivalent gun up for pictures/parts.

A quick search listed it as Savage/Stevens model 520
