I have been thinking. (Yeah frightning ain't it?)
There seems to be a very large contingent us Western Washington folks on The High Road and The Firing Line.

I am proud to be associated with both groups and I suspect that many others feel the same way.

I wonder how many times I have stood next to or walked past a THR/TFL member at one of the local Gunshows and didn't realize it.
Also I think that there are many more good people out there that would be a welcome addition to the furums.

I was wondering if those of us who attend the Washington Arms Collectors shows would be willing to meet each other and at the same time quietly promote the forums?

I was thinking of a way to identify ourselves.

I was thinking of printing up small labels that simply said "www.thehighroad.com" that could be attached to the WACA name badge?

Or perhaps even a separate "badge" with screen name and forum name?

What say ye?

Is there any interest in this or would y'all rather stay anonymous?

i should probably join the WAC, huh?
Of course you should!
It then gets you and your spouse/S.O. into all of the WAC gunshows free. And your children under 18 get in free also.

Besides if you are not a member you cannot buy or sell a firearm at a WAC show. You can't even walk around inside carrying one.
Plus the monthy newpaper is better than many gun magazines.

I'll be in puyallup on saturday morning, but it won't be till late morning and I'll have the wife with me. I'm amazed she agreed to go!

Everett is a bit too far to drive on a friday afternoon, we should get an outdoor shoot together in the summer.

Bluesbear, great idea. Perhaps simply a small sticker that could be attached to the WAC badge, but with big, easily read letters such as "THR Member" ... would be a good icebreaker for opening conversation ...
