Whacked a big coyote

I've seen coyotes in town where I live, I have 2 goats and a hen house next door to my place, the other neighbors next door have a herd of feral cats... I've seen coyotes running along the fence where the goats are kept... The herd of cats is slowly dwindling down... There seems to be higher population of coyotes in my area in the past few years, I'm on the Palouse BTW... Friend of ours has taken a few over on his land with his truck/tractor gun, sks... Wolf meet coyote 
I saw a couple of yotes loping by after the night hunt when I was walking out of my turkey hunting area this morning. Had my .357 mag with cast loads but didn't get a shot.
The other day my wife and I were walking on the land and one burst out of the trees right in front of us on his way back from a water hole. He was gone before I could draw and fire.
