so on saterday, me and dad decided to drive out to waynsborro and check out a gunstore that he had seen advertised in the buck saver for the longest time. B&R A Real Country Store. Wow, what a neat little place. They have everything, guns, hardware, groceries and even a deli. And the guns, awsome. deffinatly not the selection you would expect out in the middle of no where, and the prices were really nice too.
In fact the only damper was, 1.) dads broke, so we couldn't combine monetary forces, and 2.) Lou meet us there with his wife and she is not a gunnie, so became quickly bored.
but man did me and dad have fun. i finally got my hands on the XD and really liked it, and dad found a HiPoint in 40S&W, which he's gonna go back for. best part was the owners were away at a big gun show and are sceduled to come back with all sorts of goodies. further plus for the B&R, they had really nice costomer service. both of the guys were nice, polite and chatty with us. They were eager to show us whatever we wanted to see and knowledgable about what they had. We will deffinatly return soon. And next time we will have some extra cash.
but it doesn't stop there..... Lou and carol wanted to get back home, more i think, 'cause carol was bored witless, then anything else. But me and dad decided to go on over to Dominion. he hasn't been there since they got the new place and, let me tell you, you will drool when entering. i did. We should have known that entering a second gun shop in one day would create havock on the old wallet. i ended up putting a WASR-10 on layaway. in my defence, we really need one. its they only thing missing.
once again, great customer service and really nice folks behind the counter.
