A Browning Buckmark Camper. Technically I'm not taking it out of layaway until 01/01/05, but I put the initial payment on it 12/03/04 so I say it counts.

I am buying a new house.
Anything else in the near future is out of the question.
I will be dead broke.
My days of buying guns, reloading components, and related junk are over.
I have been blessed for many years to be able to buy all the guns and related junk I could decide I wanted. I guess my priorities have changed. Hopefully, all the ammo and handloading components will sustain me for many years to come.

Just bought my final item. Posted it in the Rifle Section. :D

I am buying a new house.

Sorry to hear your funds will be dried up from that, I am glad we rent with a roommate and I have no kids either. My kids I guess are in the safe.

Well I just bought a S&W 325PD going to the range on Saturday to shoot it. I just won an auction for a new in box Colt Cobra should get it right before Christmas. :) Merry Christmas to me!

"Sorry to hear your funds will be dried up from that...."

Don't be.
I have been spending the vast majority of my take home pay for over 20 years on guns, ammunition, reloading tools, components, training, accessories................ In fact, one of the major reasons why I needed to buy a new house was to have somewhere to put all this stuff. In my present "living room" I have three work benches completely dedicated to metalic cartridge handloading and nothing else: no TV, no furniture.
I am now going to channel my money in a different direction and I can't see why I couldn't spend the next dozen lifetimes shooting the guns and ammo that I already own.
Most people get out of school, get a job, get married, start a family, get into debt........as fast as they can and then wish they had the money to buy toys. I did the opposite: I bought all the toys I could and then decided to settle down and get into serious debt.

I'm getting an Ibanez for Christmas. Though I think I'd rather have a Winchester lever in .357 or maybe a Weatherby....but hey, Ibanez rocks. \o/

My wonderful wife found a 1953 vintage S & W Model 27 for my Christmas gift. 1953 was a good year. She's a keeper (both wife and Smith).

picked up a Kimber Compact CDP II and a Finnish M39 last weekend to finish out the year.

oh yeah, and a Eotech for my M4gery.

I am considering a Walther P99, I have been wanting one for quite awhile now. My wife's not thrilled considering I just bought a S&W 500 a few months ago. :) Now if I could just decide between the Green one or the Ti.

2004 Closeout

I will be getting my first ever SW Performance Center
gun. It is a model 945-1.

This could be the caboose on 45 semiautos for me.

If anyone has one I am going to start a thread for comments, etc.

I thought I was done, but I think I may have come across a used 22lr revolver that might be calling me for adoption!

glock 19.....trying to resist the urge to send one of my 1911's off to a smith.

I'm broke... A Spyderco Solo is what will close out my year...

Just bought a 38/44 heavy duty, 1939 target setup.

To finish the year out probably a Colt Walker black powder replica. I am currently eye-ing a nice ASM or possibly a Uberti.
