I am looking around for some glock 21 mags, and came across this listing on gunbroker. $59 + $10 shipping for what appears to be one mag.

I understand gunbroker has some shady characters on it, but this seller is listed as a top 100 seller with an A+ (14523) rating.

Am I missing something? I have seen glock 21 mag for $21-$25 in several places. How does a seller like this get such a high rating?

Here's to hoping that he just missed the '2' on the number pad and accidentally hit '5'...

And ratings aren't based on the price. They are usually based on the consistency of the product vs it's description and how the transaction was handled.

I don't think it was an accident. He has other single glock mags listed for the same price. I know ratings are not based on price, but it seems that someone such a ridiculously high price would have a hard time selling enough stuff to be one of the Top 100 sellers on gunbroker.

Am I missing something. Do different gen guns take different mags and these are just really hard to get? Not a glock guy, but I am picking up a glock 21 tomorrow

One born every minute!

List it and they will come!

Often enough to make some big buck.

If you are getting a Gen4 Glock 21 and you set it up with the left handed magazine release, you need the Gen4 magazines with the required mag release notches on both sides of the mag. If you keep the Gen4 mag release set for a righty, then you can use Gen3 and older mags with the Gen4 gun. Gen3 and older guns will work with the Gen4 magazines.

I would rate my Gen4 Glock 21 as one of the very best firearms in my collection. The Gen4 guns come with 3 mags and Glock factory mags are the only way to go; the last new Gen4 Glock (17) magazine I bought cost $25.00 on sale at my LGS. IMHO, "ProMags" are junk & should be avoided.

I have never had luck with promags on any gun. I avoid them now. From my limited research it seems like KCI mags have a good rep, but it doesn't seem like them make them for the 21 in anything other than somthing crazy like a 27 rd mag.

I would like some $15 KCI 13 rd mags if they are made

It is a gen 3.

CDNN is a great source for magazines. They were by far the cheapest when I needed new H&K USP 40 mags. And for 20 bucks I wouldn't care that those G-21 mags are 10 round and not 13 round cap. I need a good deal on H&K P30 or VP9 9mm magazines and CDNN only lists the .40S&W mags for the P30.

Any aftermarket magazine for a Glock is suspect. Buy once, cry once, get an original Glock magazine.

The only aftermarket magazines I trust are MecGar. No MecGar for a Glock

As to his rating, I don't attribute that to his high mag prices but due to the amount of items he has listed. Depending on where someone lives, the guns listed may be a better deal than they can find locally. And as long as he is easy to contact and ships in a timely matter, it's all good ratings wise.

Just about everything is over priced on gunbroker. Often I find better condition stuff on a gun dealer website and low and behold gun broker folks have it listed for a whole lot more. I'm amazed that folks actually pay what they do for common and not rare items on gun broker. I just don't get it.......it's like they log in and all brain power gets taken away..........

EBay and Amazon have some stupid high prices too. Caveat emptor, or something like that. Maybe is the only one that ships to the middle east.

I find this is generally true with mags, but I have found some smoking good deals in Holsters on EBAY and Amazon. Most recently I bought some new Triple K leather holsters for under $10 shipped on Amazon (Ruger Redhawk and Glock).

You noticed this is a 10 round not the 13 round mag?
When they are in stock the 13 round mags cost no more than the 10 round mags. Just take a look at the factory Glock 40 S&W mags. The factory Glock 22 10 round or 15 round mags are all $19.99 too. Same thing with the 10 & 15 round 9mm factory mags. All the factory Glock mags are $19.99 on CDNN.

one reason i havent bitten the semi auto bug. when i wanted to figure out the costs of the "ideal set up" most of the guns that fit my hands were horridly priced for magazines.

ive seen glock and even m&p magazines in "factory 3 packs" before for 180 dollars.
