Glock factory supplied front sights used to be staked in (tool to stake sights shown above; disregard the orange cover plate and regular punch tool).
Then Glock began using a pinned-in front sight.
Third was the currently-used screwed on front sight.
I have knocked it out with a leo trade in pistol with a small punch. It came out easy and did not hurt a thing. And a standard bolted front sight will fit right in
Anytime, i can not remember what size punch i used, but it was small enough where the material had enough room where it was pressed down thru the slide. I had a friend that used a nail and pounded it thru, that also worked.
AFAIK, the hole in the slide is the same on all of them. I bet the sight in that pistol is a Trijicon. Glock was putting a staked-in Trijicon in their guns years ago. It is an awful way to install a sight, and they are known to shoot loose.
