One approach might be to visit someplace like AuctionArms.com, Gunbroker.com, GunsAmerica.com to see what folks are asking for similar items on those sites.

However, what they are worth in a private sale is likely to exceed what they are worth in a trade-in scenario...especially up in our area (I'm a Granite Stater also).

Thanks CZ, just went a purchased the "standard catalog of firearms" pretty much tells me what I need to know. Probably will sell the S&W and the HK to get some dough back.
