I used to miss my P226 in 40.... but

I couldnt find a use for after I determined I only wanted guns that were DAO,
and guns that were built to CCW, range only guns went away.

Going back and forth from DA/SA to DAO was problematic

Have traded and sold many of my guns. Have thinned the herd to just a few that I really enjoy. I have sold some revolvers, and a few leverguns that I miss dearly.

I've only one. A Springfield EMP I loved but had to let go during hard times. Hurts worse when I think about paying for one again to replace it.

Ive sold alot but generally trade/ buy used to minimize losses whenswitching to a different gun nowadays.

In my dumber days i would do something like this.

Buy a new colt 1911 600$
Buy some nice grips 50-100$ (i buy grips for almost every gun i cant help it!)
Buy a nice holster 100$ (same thing i dont own a handgun without having a safe holster to carry it in)
Buy a bunch of ammo if i dont stock thAt caliber

Then something catches my eye and i sell what i have 800+ in for 500-600$!!!

Alas this is why i only allow myself to buy used unless its lower end sub 500$ gun anyway

I am with ya on this!
Right about the time I get three holsters for the gun, three sets of grips, plenty of ammo, speedloaders or magazines, spare parts......
I decide that some other gun is what I really want!
I usually cannot afford to start a collection...so always need to get rid of one to get one...
Fighting the urge right now to sell off my S&W 66 snub to finance a gosh-darn Glock!
Just shoot me now.....
