What caliber do you load the most for and why?

.357MAG is what I load the most.
Because my Lever action rifle shoots it really well and it's currently the only caliber I'm set up to load for. lol

I have probably shot more light .38 Spl, light .357 and 9MM in the last few months than anything else, but have shot everything from .32 ACP to .45 Colt. Last Sunday I shot .38 Spl, .357, 9MM, and .41 Mag.

I load for around 30 calibers. My rifles are mostly prairie dog guns from .17 K Hornet to 220 Swift AI. Pistols 38/357, 9 and 45ACP. I use a Rockchucker, I get my son to load the pistol stuff on his progressives for me. Been doing this for a minute, love loading and working up loads for new stuff.

.45 Colt. Because it is my favorite caliber and shoot it the most. Doesn't get any better no how and will always be 'the' caliber for this man. .44 Special would be the next best as it is an 'almost' favorite.

45acp followed by 40s&w and 9mm; last would be 38 spl

I have enough loaded ammo in all these calibers to last for years!

More 9mm than anything. Cheap, fun to shoot.
.45/.357/.223
and 7mm Rem mag, not cheap, kicks a little, fun to shoot in small batches:D

9mm and .45 acp. Mostly 9mm do to cost and a pleasant round to shoot. I also can load .357 and .38 special but I have plenty of those rounds and only one gun that can shoot them now, so no need for any loading of those calibers.

In order most to least:

223 Remington, 40 SW, 45 ACP, 30-30 Winchester.

I see now that the ones with the biggest magazines get loaded more. This phenomenon may only occur with teenage boys running the guns.

40S&W because it's a whole lot easier to shoot more rounds through an auto than through a revolver (357)! Plus, I apparently need the practice.

Well right now it's a toss up between 45 Colt and 40 S&W, and I don't even own a 40. I reload for both myself and my son in law. Well the young man enjoys shooting. He provides the materials and I reload for him. We have tailored loads for his 40 pistol, 45 Colt Blackhawk, and both of us have 45 Colt lever actions.
Right now I am loading right around 250 rounds of 40, 100 rounds for the Blachawk and 100 rounds for the lever, every other week. That's just for him. Now he tells me he is thinking of getting a 9mm too.
That's ok though he is a good man and treats my daughter and granddaughter like queens.

It's a toss up between 308 and 223.

Month to month it varies but it will always be 308 or 223 in the lead position. They would be followed by 7mm-08, 30-06, 45 ACP, 45 LC, 38 SPL & 357 Magnum. I don't shoot much 7mm Rem Mag anymore or 30 Carbine.

38 Super, because I can use lighter bullets designed for 380ACP up to 180gr bullets intended for .357/.38 Costs about the same as 9mm if you reuse the brass. 158gr bullets are quite nice and seem like a good choice if not running a compensator.

40 S&W is my go to "common caliber". I just shoot for average loadings for it since there's plenty of information available and don't really bother with anything other than 165gr or 180gr bullet weights.
