Shoot guys I had a very nice Savage 99 EG .308 in the classifieds here for almost a month without a single hit and the price was right too. Whats up with that!
Don't underestimate the value of that stock. If it "fits" you keep it. Having one made that "fits" can be very costly. I paid over $800 for one 25 yrs. ago. Had it made by a gentleman named RJ Anton in the middlewest. A true craftsman. He made me one for my over/under and I shot some serious trap with it for many years. Yours looks to be the equal of that one. Not too many guys you can do that kind of work anymore. You are fortunate indeed.
