What choke in Stevens 940B 20ga?

Just like the title asks, I inherited a Stevens single shot 20 gauge 940B that takes 2&3/4 and 3" shells, but I don't see any mark of what choke it may be. I'm guessing it's probably M or IC, but have no idea.

Look at the barrel for the choke marking.
After the name, there will be one or more asterisks.

One * means a Full choke, two ** means Mod, etc, etc.

No * on the barrel, but I did measure and it's right around .600, so Modified/Improved Modified. Thanks for the link!
 
Measuring the muzzle won't tell you much if you can't measure the actual bore size and figure the difference. All bores aren't exactly the "standard" dimension listed on the chart. Shooting it at paper and counting holes is the best way.
 
Most of those old single shots were choked Full .

I never saw a Savage 94 series that wasn't Full choke .
