I just want to make sure these are mach primer, and not just regular large rifle, Thanks

Interesting to say the least. I suppose it is possible that with current demand on the primers Federal did not use a dye on this guys primers he was using. But I've been using Federal 210M primers since the early 90s and have never seen one that was NOT colored coded. I think the yellow you are talking about is the brass alloy used to manufacture that part of the primer. I have seen yellow dye used in primers before but not from Federal.

The Red is a dye used to keep them from getting standard LR primers mixed up with the magnum primers at the factory. 215 & 215M are purple in color. Last batch of 210M primers from my dealer I bought in January of this year still have red dye on the inside of them.

Dont know if that is the reason, but 210's are red and the 215's are purple regardless if they are the match versions or not. Speaking of which, I have always used the M's but now am using more standards due to stock on hand and availabilty and havenot noticed a difference in velocities or accuracy.

Tough crowd. I assumed everyone knew 210 and 210M are standard large rifle primers.

Making an assumption here, but your "problem" at hand set aside...

Be careful about posting in public (or private) forums about breaking federal law. Probably bad practice. The assumption being you're not a haz-mat registered shipper... since anyone who regularly stocks and ships primers isn't going to find themselves in a position to answer the question you posed.

CCI 250 Magnum LR = Yellow - Silver cup
CCI No 41 SR = Yellow - Brass cup
CCI 200 LR = Yellow - Silver cup
Federal GM210M = Yellow Green Primer & Anvil covered with red - Silver cup
(Has more red on Anvil) Red/Gold box
Federal 210 = Yellow Green Primer & Anvil covered with red - Silver cup Blue/Silver box

Thank you every one, I just wanted to verify what color of these, because the buyer was saying that if these were red and yellow, these were probly swiched with standered large rifle primers. aned that all the large rifle match primers that he has ever seen were just yellow. I personaly just think that he does not want to complete the tranaction, and pay the shipping and hazmat fees. oh well I will just probly just end up keeping thyem anyway
