I have some Hornady Factory FTX ammo and am thinking of just shooting it and then reloading these cases. However, they are clearly using large rifle primers and ALL of the data out there is for small rifle primers (at least that I could find). Does anyone have direct experience reloading these using large rifle primers?

I see that most of the data is specifying Winchester Small Rifle primers. I have Winchester Large Rifle and Federal GM210M Large Rifle Primers available.

Should not be a problem. Just load up a few to test with to make sure your gun can set them off. Rifle primers have a heavier cup than pistol primers. If your at max load back off and work backup.

I've never heard of large rifle 450 BM brass. I would treat it basically the same as other brass but would be more conservative about with max loads, especially if shooting in an AR. If shooting in a bolt action I wouldn't worry about it too much. 450 BM max SAAMI PSI is 38,500 so not really a high pressure load by any means
