What did santa bring you?

Nothing, firearm or otherwise. Nothing to unwrap, no envelopes to open, no cards- nothing.

I had it all by my lonesome, quiet, read and finished my book. Cleaned house, ate, did some research, made notes, emailed some folks going thru some really bad times.

It was a good day!

Only items of interest was that I got a Colt Mustang Pocketlite from Missashot and I bought her some purple AR-15 stocks for the CAR-15 that she is building. These were Xmas gifts, but she got her stocks a couple of days before Xmas (plus she knew I'd ordered them), and the Mustang was found at a local store on Friday evening, and when I was going to buy it, Missashot bought it for me as an Xmas gift. I think we will shoot the Mustang at the indoor range tomorrow, and if the upper comes in today or tomorrow, we may have to test it out for a few rounds at the range, too.

Jimmy Buffett's A Salty Piece of Land and the DVD of Serenity.

I guess I'm getting older--I don't ask for much any more. What I truely need I usually buy. Besides, as my wife will tell you I'm just too hard to please.

One of the new 30Gb Apple iPod thingys...now to figure out how it works

Me? Nothing. Now that I have a 10 month old, it's all about him. He got TONS of stuff. My relatives don't even say hello to me anymore. :scrutiny:
You too eh? Mine's 2 and my mom still pushes me out of the way to get to my daughter when we pull into town. ;) This Christmas, we gave specific instructions to not get her any large toys. She needed clothes more than anything. Last year, we had the 4Runner packed to the gills with just enough space for the three of us. We still had to pack one of those receiver hitch platforms full as well. There's no way we could've made that trip in a car.

As for my Christmas, besides money for the kitchen remodel (all my wife and I wanted), I got a copy of Elmer Keith's Gun Notes vol 1, An illustrated encyclopedia of hunting guns, a Mouse Sander, a power inverter for the truck, and a Coleman Latern.

a $50 dollar gift card to a local shop, plus enough cash from various people to get a Mossberg 500A, and 125 rounds of 12 gauge.
Also, Santa got me two books, both of which I'm sure will be excellent.
Steel Canvas, the Art of American Arms
And a very nice hard cover book called "A Pictorial History of World War II" that I can't seem to find on Amazon.

A Savage 10FP in .223, which I will not only shoot, but turn in to my own gratuitous gun porn, which I will sling all over the web. She's a shooter.

A large Drake blind bag and an insulated Filson ShadowGrass ball hat with a wool earflap that folds up inside.

And they found a Filson hat in XXL. Wooooo...

Bottle of Jose Cuervo -- not nearly as good as a new gun, but after the first half was gone I have to admitt I didn't care ! :what:

I received a bottle of Jamesons Irish whiskey myself, nothing gun related unfortunately though I don't go in much for Xmas and I tell everyone to save their money. Just used the $40 my grandma gave me though on a box of clays and a couple of brincks of 22lr though!

Christmas season hangovers are no fun from the box of Spanish sangria wine I bought myself as a present:( (long story)

i didn't get any gun related gifts this year, but i did get a new leatherman (which is being mailed home since i couldn't take it on the plane), and some money which will go towards my next gun purchase.

A new gun cleaning case, with one drawer and racks you can put on to hold a rifle, a book, Enemies Foreign and Domestic and bunch of other stuff not gun related.

Wife got me Para Ord LTC w/alloy frame, regal black finish, ss fire controls and cocbolo grips..very nice and shoots great too. Finally got something I can use for Christmas!
