Well My mom never got me 22 plinking ammo. She said "She didn't want my kid to kill himself with one of my guns accidentally, and have it be the ammo she purchased".
Yeah....cause I leave loaded guns laying around. And my kid is gonna find a way to get into my safe, load the gun, and somehow shoot himself with a 22 long rifle? He's 4! The rifle's taller than him!

BUT....I was given a handgun hard case (useless since the only handgun I own has it's own case) BUT it was a thoughtful gift from the brother in law. AND....It may be an excuse to buy 4 more handguns! hahaha

A fully rifled cantilever barrel for my 1100 LT 20 gauge. A fully rifled cantilever barrel for my 870. A range finder and a scent free storage system for my hunting clothes.

My Christmas has been fairly gun-friendly this year. I had the pleasure of visiting with Tuner and family which is always a treat, especially so at Christmas. I was pleased to make a new friend this time too. The TurboCoffee and conversation were refreshing and stimulating, a great Christmas present.

While there I retrieved what has not-so-affectionately become known as the “Rehab Nork.” It was Bubba’d before I got it and took a bit of Tuner-style persuasion to become reliable. Fortunately it became accurate too, and all with a stock Nork (but not original) barrel. It was like getting a new pistol to have it back, a great Christmas present.

While there Tuner also adhered (with JB Weld) new grip bushings to a Kimber, which allowed me to remove the grips it had when I bought it and install the ones I prefer. It finally feels like shooting my pistol, and not someone else’s, a great Christmas present.

A friend gave a Wally-world gift card. It’ll go for .22LR, brake cleaner, and targets. Might even get a case of clays to pop with the .22, a great Christmas present.

Another friend gave a proven reliable 8 round 1911 magazine. A special friend indeed, and a great Christmas present.

Another friend gave a box of Remington 9mm 124g ammo, also a great Christmas present.

I’ve been very fortunate this year to have been blessed and enjoyed family and friends! Merry Christmas to All!

My larger xmas list was posted earlier but the one I was waiting for was under the tree for me!

Got me another Ruger 10/22 to build out under the tree all stainless n purdy, now to go and put on all the accessories that I prepurchased for it :D

I am so pleased and blessed. I had a wonderful time with my family this Christmas. Yesterday (X-mas eve) I went to visit my grandparents and rec'd my all-time favorite gift. My grandfather, who is now 75 yrs old, handcrafted me a gun cabinet made of cherry wood. It is gorgeous. My long guns don't need to go in the closet any more!

My first Browning Rimfire.

What was I given?
A Filson Leather Belt - 1-1/2" double-width bridle leather. It's like wearing a hula hoop around my waist. I now know what it's all about.

What did I buy, that I may or may not yet have let my fiancee in on?
-Speed Strips
-Pocket Holster
-Kydex
-Elk Leather
(the last two are destined to be merged into a holster)

A 1945 Remington Rand with a Colt slide from my wife. She thought my Garand and my Carbine needed a companion. :D

Unbeknownst to me, my younger brother has been searching for the right deal for three years.

The wife got me a Konus 80 spotting scope, a Garrity handheld LED light, a Goldenrod and the "Armed America" coffee table book. WooHoo!

This year my wife gave me 192 rnds of Greek .30-06 ammo.

She also, (along with several of my family), gave me a service grade M1 Garand! :D :what: :D

I haven't stopped grinning yet!

Mark.
