A) Ruger Mark IV .22 (Standard).
After removing about 1/2" total from the recoil spring (Reduced Power by Volquartsen->> even this "stock" spring wasn't much help<<),
this newish gun is - finally - extremely reliable with both bulk Federal 'blue box' and Federal Automatch brands.
The Golden Bullet ammo was far more reliable even before the spring was shortened.
B) 1940s or early 50s Savage 2B: .22 LR.
