As for me, S&W Shield Plus, 2 spare mags, pocketknife, keys, phone & wallet.

I'm carrying a sr9c with a spare 10 rd mag in my left front .
Streamlight microstream in left front.
Lockblade in rt front.
Wallet and handkerchief in hip pockets.

My current EDG is a .45acp Springfield Armory XDs Mod2 ... in a DeSantis Nemesis pocket holster or OWB Mini-Scabbard. In addition to that I carry a folder clipped inside the lateral corner of my right-front pocket.

P365 with 12 round mag in Nemesis pocket holster, extra 12 round mag, old school folding knife. Being left handed, the old style folders work better for me.

In winter I carry my Starr Firestarr M-40 (40 S&W) with an extra 6 round mag. In the summer months a AMT back-up in .380 resides in my back pocket with extra mag in the front pocket. I always carry some sort of knife, it depends on what I happen to grab, and my monkey fist resides in one of my front pockets for the times when I go to places where firearms are not permitted.

Most days it's this pair due to my work clothing and working conditions.

Although I have my permit I've never carried a handgun. I do carry pepper spray and a knife when I'm out hiking.

Currently pocket carry an LC9s with a spare 9 round mag carried weak side.
I'm also recovering from spine fusion and if all goes well I'll return to my beloved SR9c with at least one 17 round spare mag carried weak side. That LC9s may stay in the pocket as well.

I carry a LCP2, 442, or a 605 (this week)
I don't carry a reload for my EDC. I have carried a second handgun while hiking. My 415 41 mag, 686+, or my Bond Arms Rowdy loaded with 410 shot shells. The knife is more a cutting tool than a defense tool.

Extra mag is more for mag or human failure than for a need for more firepower.
But it’s better to have and not need than need and not have.

Well, “It depends.” The foundation of my daily carry is a lethal blade, at least here in Texas. Yes, the blade is a “tool,” but the blade is far more important than a firearm. A powerful hand-held light is also more important than a firearm. Less-lethal is often among my carry items.

If I am toting a firearm, I virtually always have some form of reload, along with it.

Up until last week, a Kel-Tec PF9 backed by a Kel-Tec P32, and a reload for the P32 (I figure that, if further discretion in carry is needed, it's the belt gun that will get ditched.)

Last week, after getting a chance to test a Taurus G2C purchased almost two years ago, and a Ruger LCP-MAX purchased one month ago, they moved up to the front of the carry pool, and there is a reload for the MAX.

I also carry a knife, but I do not consider it "less-lethal", so I chose "firearm and reload" only.
