Asking because I may stop reloading .32 S&W Long in favor of .32 Magnum cases. (For hot and powder-puff loads)

I've only been loading a short time.

Do I just store these 1000 .32 long casing after firing again? Sell them?

I dont plan on ever buying a .32 Long gun. Only .32 mag and .327 fed mag guns.

What do yall do?

I tend to run them through the tumbler and then seal them in ziplock bags. Then I put them away and forget about them and discover them a couple of decades later while looking for something else and then I think about what a dummy I am because I just bought a thousand new pieces of the same brass last week after I decided I should probably have a good supply of the stuff.

I usually smash any brass I'm not using any more with a hammer so it doesn't somehow through Murphy's law get back in the rotation of useable brass. But that's bad cases only. If you have room just put them away and maybe you could sell them to someone who would use them. You might change your mind later.

I store brass that I don't load anymore in old, clearly marked (felt-tip on a piece of masking tape) coffee cans or Christmas fruitcake tins. I put the cans and tins on shelves near my loading bench in the basement. Eventually (by the time you run across someone who wants that particular brass, or you decide to start loading it again) it will have disappeared, and you'll have to solicit help in order to find it. I'm glad my wife is tolerant and loves me.;)
Edited to add: as others that got in before me already said, if it's "bad" brass I smash it with a pair of pliers and throw it in the trash.

You shold be able to sell that brass for a fair amount. It is hard to find lately. If I were you I would hold onto it until you are tripple sure that you will never need it again. Selling for scrap would be my last option. Many on here would purchase that from you.

Trade it for stuff I do use or give it to my buddy who also reloads.

Over the years I have ended up with cases that I received from friends that aren't going to be reloading and they are cleaning out their late father's stuff. If it is a caliber that I don't have or have no interest in owning, I usually try to pass it on to someone out that can utilize it.

If the cases are damaged, they get trashed.

If you are sure you won’t be needing it, I trade it for what I need all the time. Keeps my overall costs down. Selling it outright can be beneficial as well and can get you stuff you need also. Storing it just in case has its place also.

If it is good, serviceable brass, sell it. Somebody would like to get the cases for his/hers use.

I generally do not get rid of guns so I always have use for cases for my guns. I keep the cases for my future use.

There's a fellow lives nearby (40 miles, anyway) who has a business selling reloads. Especially lately, he's always looking for brass of one kind or another. He appears at most local gunshows.
I've got so much 'stuff' to store into my rapidly shrinking house, I'd rather see old brass (I don't use) go to him rather than be thrown out. He'll buy it (not at top prices) but it will be used.

I don't throw away or scrap any good brass, Odd brass, I deprime and clean, I have a box I put it all in and keep it until I find someone that needs it, then I give it to them or trade it to them for more of something I use.
I'm working on a bag of .380s and 45 Auto, right now. I don't load either one but I know people that do.
