What do you think of this .44 magnum load?

Greetings to the Republic. Have you got anything you have workrd out for Titegroup with a 240 Gr SWC in a 5" model 629 . I like to keep things at about 859 -900 fps for general steel plinking.

I bought some commercial hollow point defense rounds, hornady and something else, for the taurus m44 (heavy, ported 4 inch)

It felt like a kitty pawing my hand.

I use the corbon 165 gr .44 spcl in my Charter 2000 bulldog pug, and in my Redhawk when I am in town. I switch to WW 240 gr jsp .44 mag in the Redhawk in the boonies of the lower 48, and 300 gr lwfp over 14 grs 2400 in Alaska.
