So I'm now a resident of CT.

I don't, really, really don't want to wait two weeks from putting my money down to picking up my rifle/shotgun/whatever. One way out of this that I found is to get a hunting license.

What exactly does that entail, though? I've heard it can be an 8 hour long two day course and $150 fee; I hope I heard wrong.

    Bump.

I'm sure someone has a CT license to hunt.

    Welcome to CT

    3rd Rail, Welcome!
I got a pistol permit because it wasn't that much more of a hassle than a hunting license and I am not a hunter. I know one guy who took a 2 day class for his hunting license. I only had to take an 8 hour course.

I would like to try another CT highroad get together. I bailed on the last one. there are a few of us here.
