What Firearms Related Magazine Do You Read?

None of them. They all are dependent upon selling advertising so no article is written without that thought in mind. Only publication I've read that comes out and states that a particular firearm is junk is Gun Tests and I'm not sure if they exist today.

Concealed Carry Magazine

Women & Guns Magazine

SWAT Magazine

All three magazines are less about equipment, and more about the ways in which the equipment is or can be used. SWAT in particular frequently discusses training techniques and provides interesting reviews of various professional training; CCM is targeted specifically toward the armed citizen and gives a lot of information specifically of interest to those who regularly carry concealed weapons; and W&G is just a nifty little magazine to leave lying around the house to fascinate and/or annoy my women friends & relatives.

I don't subscibe to any gun mags. When I'm at the store I just check them out and buy the ones that look like they have good articles or ones that interest me.

Shooting Illustrated, American Rifleman, Shooting Times, Guns, Guns and Ammo, and American Handgunner.

I read (nb: read not buy) most of the big ones. Guns, Guns & Ammo, American Handgunner, etc.. Once you account for ad bias, they're entertaining.

I get American Rifleman in the mail, and I pick up Guns, Guns & Ammo, and American Handgunner with regularity. I just plain like reading about guns.

I dont read any of them anymore...I rarely felt like I was learning much unless I was in the market for a particular gun which was featured, but now with the vast majority of info on the net and forums like this, for me they are just outdated and somewhat biased at times.

American Rifleman
America's First Freedom
The Firing Line
Guns & Ammo
Shooting Times

And every now and then Outdoor Life (not usually for the gun content, but that's always fun) or something similar.

Guns & Ammo
SWAT
Small Arms Review
American Rifleman

All of them more for the articles that entertain me and the high quality photos than anything else. As others have said, most of the content in them is for advertising purposes-including most articles.

American Rifleman
American Hunter
Guns & Ammo

And I just dropped my subscription to Shooting Times. I started getting renewal notices two months after my subscription started. They always stated "act now to prevent interuption". It kind of ticked me off so I dropped them. And they still sent me three more issues after my subscription ended.LOL

American Rifleman is about all I care for at this point.

I can't pick up a Shotgun News without seeing something that I want and can't buy!

American Rifleman
I'll pick up Handloader or American Handguns once in a while
I'll pick up something random when I don't feel like reading a book or getting a car magazine.

SWAT and American Rifleman. I don't read American Rifleman but since i HAVE to pick a magazine....

this site
Guns (the best of the mainstream rags IMO...they are irreverent)
American Handgunner (ditto above)
Shotgun News
Small Arms Review

G&A but going to let that expire

Thinking about SWAT

I get Guns&Ammo and Shooting Times for free compliments of GalleryofGuns.com does anyone else get these?

They started sending them to me late 2005 and I have no idea why? I have done business with them but not very much.
I like both of these magazines and will subscribe if they stop coming for free.

I have subscription to Handguns Mag and American Rifleman
