Is either a double stack .22 mag or a polymer frame 1911

amiright

ok maybe not ...

Interesting.....would a double stacked .22mag magazine work reliability?

I don't care what Glock comes out with- until they change that grip angle I am not interested.
Yes I have one, G19.

How about fixing the grip angle and the worst trigger ever put on a hand gun? For me, these two failures make Glocks unusable.Fix these and we'll talk.

a "Glock reliable" high capacity (10 or more rounds) pocket sized 22mag would be very interesting.

About as probable as flying pigs. Same with the proposed .22s and 7.62 "Russian" that I assume is meant to be Tokarev. Anything other than the calibers they now have would probably be for a large military contract for something like a FN 5.7mm round.

They could make it their own by only supplying it in .45GAP and changing the grip angle.

I'd like to see something suitable for pocket-carry, like a single-stack 9mm, with a simple cross-bolt safety ( and with the Tenifer treatment again, since we're wishing here ! :D )

edit: LOL, I didn't realize that the G42 was the single stack .380

What would you like to talk about? How about Glock perfection? I get, you don't like Glocks, but unusable, hardly. If you press the trigger

there is a better than average chance that it will go bang. And as far as the grip angle, its not like its pointing back at you, is it? Sheesh !

Please Larry enjoy your 1911, your Sig, or whatever it is you enjoy shooting and have a great day. Don't mind me I'm just another fan boy.

7.62 Russian in double stack.
This, but a frame long enough to accomodate 5.7 as well, would open a whole new territory for people to explore "automag" cartridges. Norinco has been successful with their hicap SIG clone in 7.62, no reason Glock would not as well, given the ban in the US and their reputation. 5.7x28 would be about as popular as 45GAP, which means probably worth their time even if not a game maker. 7.62x25 Glocks would kill at longer range pistol competition and varmint hunting, while still working valiantly as a defense cartridge that is legitimately different in effect from 9/40/45 (slightly to decently more powerful, but much faster, so terminal traits would be legitimately different compared to those solid but nearly-identical performers). Different is good.

No way pip....the long slide 10mm has been on my list since I ditched my g20.

I don't really have an interest in any other glocks...

I'd like to see palmswell grip panels along with the modular backstraps. I'd like F.O. Front Sights. I'd also like to see .22LR and .22WMR conversion kits for the G-17 & G-19, and a .40S&W drop in barrel for the G-20.

Ha! The only thing worse than a fanboi, is the pot-stirrer who rattles the fanboi's cage. :neener:

To answer the OP question, I've already got the Glocks I want - 19 & 26 for 9mm, 21 & 30 for .45 and a 32 for my oddball caliber, 357Sig. If they did make a model 43 (single-stack 9mm) I'd have to give it serious consideration. They'll never make a 1911, but that would be fun to see. They'll never make a carbine, but that'd be interesting, too.
What I'd really like is a Glock 7, all ceramic, undetectable by metal detectors and costs more than you make in a month.

until they change that grip angle I am not interested.

Why would they want to do that? It is the grip angle that gives Glock an edge over other brands. In fact it is almost identical to the 1920's-present military spec 1911 grip angle that the army determined was the best for combat shooting.

I dunno...I'm sure it doesn't work for some folks. Glocks *RoCk* for me but it does not surprise me that some folks find them not to their liking.

I don't really think Glock needs to change much about the way they build pistols as the two that I have (G26 and G42) are awesome. Not perfection but pretty dang cool. As far as the single stack 9mm? I'd like to see one but I'm getting full mileage out of my '26 and '42 so they can take their time.

I do like the suggestion that they release a double stack .32 or even a high cap single stack .32 say 10 - 13 rounds? I buy one of those *before* I'd buy even a single stack 9mm.

But that's just crazy talk right there... :cuss:

Ky Larry How about fixing the grip angle and the worst trigger ever put on a hand gun?
Seriously?:scrutiny:
There isn't anything wrong with the Glock "grip angle". If your delicate shooting grip requires only one perfect grip angle on a gun what a sad life you must have.

Regarding the trigger, I guess you've never shot a FN/Browning Hi Power, a S&W M&P, a Hi Point, an XD or any of a thousand other guns with terrible factory triggers.

With that awful grip angle and the worst ever trigger it's amazing that they sell a single one.

I can agree about the trigger sentiment. It cost me $250+ to fix the Glock trigger. But like the plastic sights, I'd rather buy the cheapest Glock possible and then modify it to meet my needs. No need for fancy factory sights or triggers, I can do that myself.

I wish I could check a box marked "no sights at all" when I ordered my other pistols. I hate having to pay for Meprolite or Novak sights that I'll never use.

But the grip angle bit never made sense to me. If anything, the 1911 lacks a lot on the grip stance department. Many of those posters are referring to the palm swell, but IMO, the front strap is where all the work is done. And my G23 front strap works as well as my 1911's.

I go between 1911's and Glocks all the time. And I'd actually give the Glock grip the edge with modern fighting stances, and the 1911 has an edge with obsolete Weaver stances. But we're talking about a few degrees. Unless your wrist is locked up from a motorcycle accident, I don't see the problem. Get a S&W M&P or something.

I'd like to see a single stack 9mm Glock with a 3.75" barrel and a grip somewhere between a G42 and a G19. And that is exactly why we may never see a single stack 9mm Glock. It's too big to win much of the size compromised CCW market, but going any smaller walks away from the Glocks fighting edge.

I just think that a SS9, that can fight almost as well as a G19, is going to take a ton of beta testing to get perfect. I bet it already exists, it's just not "right" yet.

You can't go as small as the other small/thin 9mm's without hurting the shoot ability of the gun. A G26 or G19 walks all over the small single stacks I've tried. How small can you go before the performance of the gun suffers. I'd feel pretty unprepared if I had to fight someone with a G19, and all I have is a Keltec PF9 or the similar Ruger version. A pistol like my Kahr P9 is worthless compared to my Glock 23. The Glock absolutely wrecks the times I set in training with the Kahr. If I was Glock, would I want my name on a Kahr PM9 or Keltec Pf9?
