what gun maker do you dislike?

I'm talking about dislike for personal reasons, not quality. Obviously H&K is on some people's list but i'll start

Springfield Armory: First of all they tried to play off as if they're the original armory, they're NOT! They also tried to market off everything as "AMERICAN" but their XD are Croatian, their Springfield M1A 's receiver are made in Taiwan and the frame of their 1911 are imported from Brazil

add the bad mouthing campaigns in the 1990s to discredit Chinese made M14 and Springfield Armory becomes one of the company that i personally dislike

note: I never bashed on their product, they do make/import excellent firearms

I find it difficult to think of any. For every gun I dislike, the manufacturer makes others I do like. I have no use for Lorcins, Seecamps, Jennnings, etc, but that's preference, I fight for them like all the others.

I suppose H&Ks arrogance toward the civilian market doesn't make me appreciate them much, but I don't think I was in the market for one anyway.

i'd like to point out that i'm asking for the company that you dislike, for example i know the Springfield XD are great, but no way i'm buying from them because i don't like the way the company is run

Or Ruger for that matter, thanks for lobbying for the Assault Weapon bill in 1994 to sell your stuff Bill Ruger

Ruger used to rub me the wrong way. Now that the old man is dead, I reset the timer.
Coming out with black rifle reassured me somewhat.
That said, I own and old mini-14 and 10/22.

Little content of any value will come of this discussion. If you guys want to debate the relative merits of various models of firearm, that's fine. Likewise, discussions dealing with PR gaffes, bad customer service, or anti-rights political activity would also be fine. But this Ford vs. Chevy chest thumping stuff isn't high road.
