What gun related items are you researching right now

Casting bullets. I have a good handle on most things gun related and casting is simple in theory but as I slowly build inventory on equipment and prepare to begin casting there is a lot of things that aren’t as simple as they seem.

Replace. These were cheap pistols and would probably cost more in shipping for parts than buying new ones. Out to 30 feet they were a hoot though. I took one to the range for sighting at known distance. Loads of fun for pennies. 10 pellets in a 1.5" circle until the CO2 started to get low. They got more unpredictable after that.

Thinking about a steel challenge handgun. Used to shoot a Buckmark but sold it . Thinking about a Glock 44 to keep in my paradigm of shooting close to EDC as compared to specialized steel challenge guns with optics.

I'm new and own no firearms at all, yet, so I'm doing a lot of research on multiple things.
Getting a 10/22 to teach the kids, but also want to eventually mod it with a new stock, trigger spring, extended magazine release, bolt release plate, cocking handle, bull barrel and optics. Researching all that.
For me, I'm researching all the available 9mm pistols and seeing which I can rent in my local area to try before I commit to a purchase. Once the pistol is purchased, I'll look into a holster. No CCW (basically) in my state, but can practice at the range with one.
Also researching how to eventually get the training to become an NRA Pistol Instructor.
That's it for now, LOL.

Researching 12ga pump shotguns mainly for HD, but versatility is great. Was originally looking at Mossberg 500/590, but they are very scare and the ones in stock are overpriced. So I started looking at short barrel options for my current 20ga wingmaster. The price of barrels is about the same as a cheap import 12ga, such as the Rock Island or stoeger.

Decision time. Different barrel for the 20ga, cheap knock around 12ga, or buy what I want that is overpriced...hmm.

I have/had plans to give my Deer rifle a facelift. Was going from a lightweight walking/stalking rifle to something like the Remington tactical rifle. But I got to thinking that with replacing the stock, barrel, scope, rings and bases that I could add an action and have 2 complete rifles vs 1 rifle and a bunch of parts. So, I'm researching custom actions!
