Well I use guns for all sorts of thing and now I want another gun. I already have a 1911, full size glock, 38 special, rifle, shotgun, and a bersa. What gun should I get? I don't have a .22 in the collection so if I go that route I would pry want a handgun. Let me know what you would do, I was also looking at .22 derringers so.... let me know.

if I already had what you had I would go ahead and get a 20 gauge or 12 gauge. Then a bolt action 50 cal :D

IMOP if you want a .22 pistol the MK II is what i have but the buckmark or any other comparable auto will do and is part of most collections. It sounds like you are a shooting fan and with ammo issues today a .22 makes a lot of sense(fun and cheap). other cals. you might want to look in to .44,.357. single action .45 long if you are into that.

Go with the .22! You will never regret that purchase. Especially if you have land/acreage where you can shoot on a whim....

WWII Walther PPK with waffenamts and a WWII Colt 1911A1 with US PROPERTY markings. Those two together will put the breaks on your spending.

A 22 (or maybe a couple of them) would make a fine addition to your collection. Nothing like spending all afternoon on the range and spending less on ammo than you would pay for a nice dinner.

If you want something a little different, with a little history, that will shoot as well as anything out there, take a look at the M44US 22 that the CMP has for sale. VERY nice, and tack-driving accurate even with just the peep sights.

As for the more modern stuff, Ruger, Mossberg, Marlin, Savage ... take your pick. If you don't have a lever gun in your collection yet, maybe kill two birds with one stone and get that in a 22?

Every shooter needs a 22rf or two in the collection. For a handgun I would recommend a S&W K-22 or Colt Match Target Woodsman if semi auto is your preference. Both would come off the used market but some mint ones are available. All steel and well crafted. For a long gun I would recommend something from the CZ lineup unless you want to spend 1000 bucks more and obtain a Anschutz. The Annie will give you about 20 bucks worth of accuracy over the CZ.
