What happened to Packing.Org ?

For a relatively new site, but good nonetheless, try

http://www.usacarry.com/

Mr. McCoy has done such a good job that it seems to me to be the logical evolution of the old, original Packing.Org. Not the one it finally became.

He has a really cool (if you dig that sort of thing) interactive state-by-state reciprocity map.

Take it for what it's worth after you try it.

And, by the way, Packing.Org suffered from the participants' rating system after suffering through years of overzealour "moderators".

Let's be fair and stay on THR: The PDO owner/operator is not experiencing "legal trouble." He is pursuing a legal degree that has occupied his time such that he no longer has the time to devote to PDO. Give Mark a break. With that typed™, I hope that he resurrects PDO upon the return from his studies.

I thought Shaun Kranish owned and operated that site. Am I confused?

I don't believe Shaun has anything whatsoever to do with PDO, other than maybe as a user/poster.

His site is Icarry.org, which is in pretty much the same condition as PDO was when Mark abandoned PDO for law school. Shaun has all but abandoned Icarry.

Web sites require care and feeding. If the owner does not arrange for that care and feeding, it will eventually die.
