What Has Happened To The Genitron Website?

For several years, I have utilized the Genitron website for handgun information, comparisons and specifications. I attempted to use it last night, and received a server error on my Ipad. Today, I checked on my PC, and received the same type of message. Anyone know what's going on???

I haven't looked there in a while until you mentioned it today.

Genitron probably went the way of all websites that aren't updated and the domain runs out or the payments to the host server aren't made to continue on.

I miss www.surplusrifle.com which was hosted by a third party for a short time after the originators let it go.

That's disappointing. I think I used them about three weeks ago, but generally went there about once each month. I did notice, however, the site didn't keep up with new models for about a year. Hope someone with the cash to do it can resurrect the site; it was a great resource. I'll save the bookmark just in case......

I looked up the administrator on whois.com, got his phone number and called. He was unaware the website was down, so it should be back up soon.

Genitron sight worked for me but info left something to be desired. I looked up the HK P7M8 and found that the frame was "integrated polymer" (it's steel), a fundamental error.
