Steve,
FYI, the F&B is usually not needed on Kel-Tecs. It can, however, solve most failure to feed and failure to eject issues on problem pistols.
I do the F&B because I like to tinker around with my Dremmel and it makes the gun run smoother.
Polishing the feed ramp and chamber is easy and probably the most useful part of a F&B and can be done without a Dremmel.
The way I see it, you are doing what the factory didn't do in order to sell the pistols cheaper. Hand work drives up prices. My p-11 needed it to run better, so I spent a few evenings tinkering with 600,100,and1500 grit w/d GM sandpaper left over from my truck's paint job. Basically just look for areas that rub on the slide (don't forget the front of the hammer) and start slicking them down. Degrease and re-blue with a Q-tip. Don't touch the aluminun reciever block! I also did the trigger transfer bar, sear, and hammer on all sides. This really helped the trigger!!!!Friction is the enemy.
PS.......lighty oil everything....They like lubrication.
