What is the best bullet puller?

I feel the rcbs is best I think the hornady is no faster, once the rcbs is set you hardly need to turn it a 1/8 maybe a 1/4 turn. I've used wire cutters a lot and with a few mods you can pull bullets without a mark. There's times where the wack a mole are good to have around, hope to catch mess up early with them lol.

For a collet puller to work you need a straight section to clamp onto. Normally this is 1/16"-3/32" as a min. If the bullet has been crimped them all bets are off. All depends on how much and what crimp was applied, taper vs roll vs LFC.

I just got the RCBS to pull down some 223. Wow, it is amazing over the Ole hammer method! When I wanted to learn to reload 223 I had a friend "teach me" which was mostly him doing the loading. I didn't really know much, but I saw he was loading 28.1 gr blc-(2) which I saw in the Hornaday book said "warning max load". I let him know about it and he just said, "ya, these are going to be hot". A few seemed like they were very heavily crimped. I hope no one else teaches people wanting to get in to reloading this way
