What is the BEST deal on a PURCHASE $$$

I just got a mossberg 500A riotgun off of
auction arms for 145.00.As new condition
and didn't look like it had ever been fired.

I bought a Remington 700 PSS with a whole "sniper package" a couple years ago. I then parted all of the accessories out, and by the time I was done my PSS was a $125 rifle.

I did the same with a tricked out AR-15, sold the light, scope, quad rail, and put a regular trigger in and sold the 2 stage trigger, and when I was done with that one the rifle was about $220.

I think a lot of people either don't have the cash or just get nervous when they see a $1600 price tag on a package deal, but usually when you add up the used value of all the accessories you can get a pretty good deal on the gun if you are willing to take the effort to sell off the extra stuff.

I bought a surplus P1 from impactgun a couple of years ago for $199.00.

It came as new with a slightly used flap holster, small cleaning kit, test target, and an extra Walther mag. new/still wrapped in oil paper.

The pistol has the "fat slide conversion" w/ hex bolt and nice white dot sights. It has been 100% reliable and very accurate.

After a small shipping fee and paying my local ffl dealer $20 for the transfer I still think I got a heck of a deal.

Not a steal, but a deal.... :D

Best Wishes,

I'd almost forgotten, I got a pre war colt woodsman target model with the 7 7/8 inch barrel and two original magazines and the original elephant ear grips for 125$ out the door

I've seen em sell for 500-600

I got a virtually new stainless steel S&W 629 Classic 44 Mag. w/ a 5" bbl for $280

I accidentally passed up a Pre-64 Winchester M70 in .220 Swift for $500. :banghead:
