What is the last gun that you bought?

I have one in 44 mag. The fit and finish is amazing. Enjoy!

Thank you!

I had a Marlin Lever 44 mag back in the early 2ks. I wanted the 357 at the time because I already reloaded 357 mag / 38 spl ammo, but a friend said I should get the 44 in case I ever wanted to go deer hunting with him and have a bit more knock-down power for larger game. I have always regretted selling that 44 mag Marlin Lever. It was a bit too much gun for my use, but it was really fun to shoot. I now have the dies and casings, primers and bullets for 44. Some day I'll have to get a gun to fire that caliber again.

In the mean time, like you posted, I will enjoy the 357.

Another one off my list, Beretta 96A1 .40sw.View attachment 1100582 View attachment 1100583

Awhile back, a neighbor had some medical issues come up. He needed money & wanted to sell a few of his guns. He had one of these. I didn't really want it, not a big fan of 40S&W, but figured he'd get some money & I'd have something I could trade or sell. Took it to the range, and liked it so much, I decided to keep it.

Yesterday, traded in my S&W 642 revolver for the black colored S&W 442 revolver. They are near identical guns but the black looks a lot nicer and will conceal better without the silver back strap to show in the pocket opening. I paid $100 for the upgrade and the 442 looks to have been shot a lot less than my 642. Well worth it to me. (Cushion it is resting on is from patriot Mike Lindell's My Pillow online store.)

Regarding the Clerke 1st .22 LR. Posted above. After discovering the frame is made of pot metal (think Hot Wheels car bodies) I un-bought the gun. Nice thing is I did not do the background check and stuff because I was in a hurry, so I paid and they put it in lawaway. I get a full refund. Come with a nice leather holster but the gun itself should be labeled, "shoot at your own risk." Guys on You Tube were wearing gloves to shoot it in case something bad happened. If it had a proper metal frame I'd have kept it because it is a cool gun otherwise.

Think I should get a Bond Arms Rowdy 45 LC derringer! Now that would be a handfull, eh?

When you posted that gun earlier I thought it looked like a toy cowboy gun that I used to see in the toy section of stores when I was a kid. Pot metal and all. Probably a good thing you bailed out on the purchase.

I have a Bond Arms Roughneck Derringer that I posted earlier in this thread. It came with a barrel for 357/38, but I recently got barrels for 410/45LC and 40 S&W. It's not as much of a handful as I thought it was going to be with 410/45LC, and actually, I find it fun to shoot. Those Bond Roughnecks are definitely on the heavy and large side for a "Derringer".

Today, at the rifle club annual picnic, which has a swap meet also.

I rather coverted the Swiss made spinoff of the CZ, the Sphinx, since they came out in like 1984 but they were hard to find and crazy expensive. They exist! Kriss bought them, runs them as before. They even submitted a variant, the SDP, to the Army pistol competition, lost out to the Sig as we know.

Got this for what today counts as a song. I didn't even slightly conceal from the wife. Box and all, spare mags. Seems to have been a nightstand gun as wear on the bits that protrude on one side, and hardly any internal wear or dirt. Or lube! So dry it was hard to take apart. But, was at the range so stripped, lubed and after the kindergartener got his shooting in, and lunch, put a couple mags through. Beautiful gun. May go into primary rotation, get carried a lot. Really nice gun, very Swiss, trigger reminds me of the Sig 55x rifles (and I got one of those also a couple years back, filling in another of my childhood dreams).

Yeah, it does look rather like a toy gun. Too bad they did not make it out of quality materials because it is an interesting design.

As for the Bond Derringers, I like the interchangeable barrels feature. That way I can get the .45 Colt and if it is too much can always get a barrel for .38 Special.

Well I bought this Monday, placed order and paid for it anyway. When it comes in I get to do the paperwork and then take it home. Anyway I can hardly wait and almost think I should have paid the extra $65 for the one that was in stock at a different gun shop, but this way I save a lot of bucks and get it at MSRP.
