Did I post this?
Can't remember so here goes.
This Pre model 14 has a cool history, a family heirloom type of thing.
It is a K-38 Target Masterpiece made in 1948.
I asked some questions about it in another thread a while back.
It was my Mom's revolver that my Dad sold to his Brother in 1965 to finance a trip for my folks to Canada.
$60.00.
(Mom always keeps immaculate records.)
I purchased it from my Aunt since she approached me if I had any interest.
No, not for sixty dollars.
Inflation calculator was used plus books.
It was a bit rusty....
Yup, it
HAD to come home with me!
Now the cool part was when I took it to the range.
I shot handloads that either my Dad or Uncle made (Mom said they did work together reloading), could have been over 30 year old ammo.
I recognized the bullets as I now have and use the same mold.
My first shot was a bullseye at 15 yards.
I nearly cried....with JOY!!!
So
cool to have this piece of history that will be passed on to one of my kids or grandkids!
Hey!
Use care out there!
