Purchased a Glock 19 Gen 3 with night sights & holster from Buds for $531. I suspect it's a cheap holster & am not sure what type of night sights they are, but I should find out in about a week.
There is nothing wrong with the DI system.I bought an AR-10 in .308 Win last year. It's a great looking rifle and shoots pretty good. However, if I had my druthers I would have passed on it. The direct impingement design was not what I was looking for. I think it is a detriment to any shooter to worry about keeping the chamber "wet" in order for it to fire dependably. Stoner was a genius, no doubt, but I wish he would have kept in line with the gas piston/operating rod rifles such as the M1A, FNFAL, FN-SCAR, SigSauer, Ruger SR-762, etc.
There hasn't been a time that my buddy's Colt AR-15 doesn't jam after a firing a couple of magazines. It's like clockwork. I don't like to burn ammo needlessly, however, I like to feel confident that everytime I pull the trigger my rifle will go bang! I don't feel that way with the Armalite AR-10. I see a Ruger SR-762 in my future. Good Shooting!
