What is your all-time favorite rifle?

Don't really have one, that is why so many of us have dozens! A Center fire favorite is a reworked 1885 Winchester....

But if I had to be limited to one rifle, it would be a .22 LR and this Kimber would not be a bad choice...

Scot43,

Your rifle is superb.

I agree with you that quality such as you admire is what I wish we saw more of and not rattle guns and push feed 7xx's.

My ALL time Fav...my next Rifle...LoL:D
Actually, probably will be...as I plan to get my 1st .308/7.62x51 AR10 "type"...
....perhaps the Ruger SR762; or Larue Predator; or JP LRP 07; DPMS has a new super light one...GII, but not sure about a DPMS?

These here, are just some of my favorites, and when I am shooting each, they become my "all time favorite";)

Well, hmmm, I thought the "attached file" function would display the photos of rifles in my post???
Maybe someone here can educate me how you all do that?

Tikka T3 Stainless 6.5x55, there is simply nothing on this planet more practical, accurate, fun to shoot, or deadly on game. Smoothest action in the business, top notch trigger, at only 6.25lbs it is a joy to carry in the field and the trigger is the best every put on a hunting rifle. Since I got it it has gone hunting with me more then all the others combined.

My favorite rifle of ALL time is the big hooped, lever action rifle that Chuck Connors used in the RIFLEMAN! ! !:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

be safe.

Love my Winchester 94 in 30-30.
Sweet handling and has a capable range for any type of hunting in my neck of the woods.

That's a nice looking custom 243, Johnny. Sort of reminds me of the classic early Ruger 77's.

Favorites?

In .22 LR, my Kimber M82

As a varmint rifle, my Kimber M82 in .22 Hornet (ideal for the Ozarks.)

As a general purpose do-anything rifle, my Winchester Model 70 in .30-06.

I have many favorites, Marlin 39A Mountie, Rem. M700 BDL "Varmint Master", Spfld. 1903A4, and Finn. M39, most of which I no longer own, sad day!.

Other than parhaps my Dad's 22 (Winchester 67) it has to be this one:

DSC_0536.jpg

It's one of the last pre-64 style left handed Winchester model 70's produced in the New Haven plant before they closed. The stock is an aftermarket laminate from Richards, but its a tack driver wearing the original walnut stock too. If I knew they were going to stop making them I would have bought a couple more.

Very nice Cooper, Scot. As an aside, I remember walking into the old Mashburn Arms store, back in the early '80's, when it was still located in downtown Oklahoma City. A.E. Mashburn was still alive and was working the counter that day. I was a punk kid then, looking for a Choate folding stock for a Mini-14. A.E. seemed rather reluctant to sell me one, but he finally dug one out of the back somewhere and I went home with it. I was little interested in fine rifles then (I couldn't afford to be) and I barely glanced at the racks and racks of beautifully crafted rifles he had for sale. I wish I could go back and do that all over again, knowing what I now know, but, hey, that's life sometimes. Anyway, that's a gorgeous rifle you have.
I'm primarily a predator and varmint hunter and, of the sixteen varmint/predator rifles I own this one is my favorite. Its a Cooper Model 38 custom classic in .218 Mashburn Bee caliber:
