What is your dream revolver?

Hold on a sec, M57. How did they get that gorgeous finish on the S&W 27-2? Is that nickel, or stainless? Doesn't look like chrome or stainless, but I've never seen nickel that wonderful....

how do you choose which one? Love the look of all the high polish stainless steels/nickel, love the fancy intricate engravings, love big bores, I would have to say its a draw between a colt anaconda 44mag stainless 6 inch custom engraved with ivory or possibly highly polished iron wood grips, like the python here;

and a colt saa 45lc with a color case hardened frame and iron wood grips blued with gold inlay. kind of like this, change the engraving style on the barrel somewhat;

well if you wanna go crazy lol, id love to strech a colt python frame and chamber it for a 357 maximum. 6 inch barrel colts bluing. id have to spray it down with rust preventive but i love colts bluing

A Ruger built 45/410 chambered for 3" Magnum with a 6 inch barrel and a removable choke. I'd love something like that for grouse hunting.

A matched pair, and NIB: S&W Model-15 Combat Masterpiece and Model-18 Combat Masterpiece.

Taurus 905 in stainless steel, 9mm and I also want this when it is released.

CARR - Charter Arms Rimless Revolver

Mateba Auto Revolver?!?!

I love the modern revolver, but the OLD WEST fascinate me.

The revolvers are all more or less beautiful, but the Mateba Auto Revolver really makes me shiver. is a nightmare! Brrr! :eek::what::eek::what:

Please talk about serious things;);)

Mine would have to be s&w 17-8 with ct. Six inch barrel and 22lr because of ammo availability.good at the range or bunny bustin'.balanced just right in k frame.truly a masterpiece!

Ok, I'll play. How about a .380 Auto revolver with a short 5 or 6-shot cylinder (less than 1" long) and with the entire frame shortened to fit the cylinder. It would use moon clips (or .380 Auto Rim), have a 2 or 3 inch barrel, and a round butt grip. Make it out of stainless, and it still wouldn't weigh that much. Made from scandium alloy, it may not weigh 10 oz. I know it's just a dream (or a guacamole nightmare)...

Heck, if S&W made one I might even buy it with the IL...

My dream gun is not stock.

S&W 4" K-frame 38special (late 50s early 60s era k-frame), nickel plate, with tritium sights, rear would be adjustable. Maple Burl target grips.

A little bit of the old school, a little bit of the new school. It's how I like my cars, my guitars, my computers, and my firearms :)

Got a couple in mind...

A New Vaquero in .41 magnum. Yep. It's been done, and it's fine. Custom operation, though...and that means pricey. It would probably carry the same caveat as K-frame .357s: Load light for most shootin' and save the hot stuff for business. A New Vaquero in .44 Special would be nice. Completely doable. Ruger? Can ya hear us?

A fixed sight, 4-inch L-frame Smith .44 Special. Two models. a 3-inch round butt and a 4-inch square butt. I'd have to have one of each. A return to the hammer mounted firing pin where God intended it would be a big plus. No internal lock, please.

Also from Smith & Wesson...Reissue the Model 10 with the lightweight tapered barrel. A more handsome, better balanced, more easily portable 4-inch revolver has never been made. Firing pin where it should be goes without saying...

Ruger redhawk krh 444

RUGER GP 100 and ... KRH 444 Redhawk ordered a week ago.
