Hey everyone! Just was wondering what is your favorite pistol you own?

Have any good stories behind it? :D

Hello there!

My favorite is my Ruger P95 9mm. This pistol fits my hand perfectly and is very friendly for a lefty like me. It is very accurate and flawlessly functional.

I met someone at the range who was shooting his S&W MP and was punching 6-8 inch groups in his target at 21 feet (7-yards). He asked me what I was shooting and after telling him I let him take it for a spin. After 15 rounds he had grouped a 3-4 inch cluster and was very impressed with the gun and himself. He left that day saying his next purchase would be a P95...a convert for sure!

My P220 Combat. I love how it feels when shooting it and I shoot it well.

P2226 X5 Tac is right up there, though.

...

I was weaned on a Beretta Px4 40cal..

Over the years, bought 2, nice, used Sig P229n/r 40's

All 3, DA/SA

Have, also, Sig P220R/45 - luv it

Also have 3 9mm's (luv them)

P229R with CT grips and P228n/r 9mm's

1 (luv it) SA EMP SAO 1911 9mm..

But I like and shoot the 40's the most, bar none (hell of a horse ride at first) but once you get to know the horse/power.. and to relax with it, it's the best ride in the stable.. "with the right horses/guns" - makes a huge difference

Throw in some luck - having just felt/never shot any of my guns prior to stepping up and becoming a full-time owner of such great, balanced, forgiving, guns that showed me the way.

1911 style .45's. This was what I first shot for handguns and it just stuck.

Many other handguns later I enjoy shooting most of them but my money keeps going back to 1911's.

Can't respond on this one ~ several calibers left out...

9X18 Makarov

32 ACP

45 LC

Well I almost had to toss a coin, and I really do like .45's the best, but my favorite pistol is my Browning Hi-Power, so I had to go with the 9mm.

My favorite is my STI Shadow that I use as my CCW. It's a .45 3" 1911. No stories behind it, but it's a perfect match for me.

There is not much you can't do with a 45 ACP. It is a great self defense round, can be used to hunt small to medium game if needed and is quite accurate for target shooting. If I was hungry and only had a 45 it would take smaller deer sized game with little trouble.

My favorite pistol is a T/C SSK Industries Contender in 375JDJ, second is my Savage Stiker in 308, of course these are my hunting pistols... for everyday handgun, probably my Dan Wesson Pointman Major in 45ACP

I like 9mm cause I like to shoot long distances with it for fun(human silhouette @ 100yds). Its just more predictable at that distance and serves perfectly as personal protection(although not better than .45).

In order:
-Dan Wesson Valor SS 5"
-Glock 23 (highly modified)
-Kahr p380 (noisey cricket)
-Kimber CDP (was fine but I'm currently rebuilding it all custom)
-Glock 22
- Smith & Wesson M&P340
-Glock 35

This is a really difficult poll for me. I've got quite a few handguns, so whichever one I'm fondling at the moment is my favorite. Another way to answer is to say whichever one I most recently purchased. :)

My latest conquest would be a Magnum Research (American Made) Desert Eagle .50 AE. So new I haven't even had a chance to shoot it yet. I love holding it, pointing it, being with it. I think I'm in love! :D
