what is your favorite shotgun sport...

Skeet is my favorite by far.
Next comes five stand, followed by sporting clays and Bunker trap.
I have a recurring interest in .410, 16 yard American trap.

Trap for me, mostly because that's the most accessible locally. The trap club also runs 5 stand, but not nearly as often as trap. Around here I can shoot trap probably 5 days a week at different clubs, all within a short drive. Sporting Clays is harder to find.

I also like trap because I'm very good at it and I have made several friends with older gentlemen at the trap club. Just sitting and listening to their old war stories about the good old days is worth the trip to the range some days.

Anything with a clay target sailing through the air is fun. The most fun thing I personally have ever shot is a Flurry set up at T&M in Orlando, FL (closed for years now unfortunately). Targets coming from all over and coordinating shooting them with another shooter, really fun.

Kevin - never made it to T&M before they closed - looking for good targets, go to Tampa Bay or come up north a ways to Bradford. Pat sets some mean "light to moderate" targets

Ducks over decoys, doves, quail over pointing dogs and geese, in that order. For target games, I shoot trap, skeet and sporting in that order. I used to spend some time at the pigeon ring, but unfortunately, that's a thing of the past in my neck of the woods.

Quite honestly it doesn't matter to me as long as I get to shoot with my friends. They are what keep me coming back.

We shoot sporting and skeet the most, but also 5 stand, wobble, trap and whatever game we can.

Shooting is fun. Shooting with good people is better.
