What Is Your Most Expensive Gun?

Remington 700 PSS .308 with Leupold 4.5-14 Tactical, Leupold mounts, Timney Trigger, Harris Bipod, total cost everything involved about 1300 bucks. I sold it for 1400, and it is one of the few guns I really really regret selling.

Just my .02,

Probable a 3 way tie between my Freedom Arms model 83 / my Rem 5R with Niteforce optic / my Bushmaster modular Carbine.

But they each do their respective jobs so very well!

Cash wise: SA Omega 10mm. with 6" ported slide, ported and unported barrels, typical receiver work by SA--about $1400 in it.

Most valuable: Winchester 52B Sporter, which my uncle had built in 1935 c/w Lyman peeps, ebony forepiece trim, etc., etc.--and which he shot at Camp Perry. In VG-exc. condition, unrestored.

Definately my AR-15 build started with a DPMS receiver. With accessories it cost around $1,000. Handgun close tie between Taurus Tracker .41 Magnum and a "old style" CZ-75 at around $429 each.

O, jes, two phunny.

Well, on review, I have to say the answer is somewhat surprising to me.

The ones of which I am the most fond cost substantially less than the most costly. That may change if I ever get the Beretta Prima Donna out to the bleedin' range.

Oh, did I forget to name the Prima Donna? Silly me. It's the slate-grey "Catapult eXcessive, Model 4" whose actual price eludes me at the moment, but 650 clams seems about right.

Somehow I've managed to keep the other stuff below that.

Interestingly, one of the least expensive pieces shoots the most expensive ammo, while the most expensive shoots the least expensive (centerfire) ammo. Poetic.

Now, if I'm clever, I'll manage to acquire those "few" remaining pieces that I . . . need . . . without spending more than that high water mark.

and i have in my possesion a SA M14nm supermatch i rent though a highpower shooting organization<gov.>its worth about $3200-$3500
it is civilian legal but it is a real M14 i guess without the turbo switch

Sig 226 Stainless $750.00 but not my favorite and I will never give that for a gun again unless its a AR variant.

The Weatherby Mark V that I have on layaway right now. It came into the store slightly used. Tag price was $1k even, but I'm paying $800 for it, which considering it comes with a couple hundred dollars' worth of Leupold scope on it isn't bad. :D
