What Kind Of Gun Would You Like To See?

I said like a Nagant. See 402's link for more info.

Exactly.

The nagant revolver uses a special cartridge with the bullet seated all the way into the brass. The gas seal is done by pressing the lips of the brass that extend past the bullet into a forcing cone at the end of the barrel. So any suppressable revolver would have to either use the existing cartridge, come up with a new one, or come up with a way to form a proper gas seal with non-specialty ammunition.

But yes, I too would love to see a new suppressible revolver. Hopefully one that doesn't use the 7.62 nagant cartridge, since it is very underpowered.

Supposedly there is also a integrally suppressed Ruger gp100 rifle.

A full-sized Ak and some kind of revolver, both shooting the 7.62x25 round. I think the tok round makes enough gas to operate an Ak action. And in a big ruger-type single action target pistol.

1. I'd like to see a more competition oriented Ruger striker-fired pistol. An SR9L for example - 5.25" barrel with no manual safety.

2. I'd like to see what Kel-tec could do as far as a full/duty size 9mm pistol goes. Something double-stack with at least a 4" barrel and 15-round capacity.

3. I'd like to see a new-production Makarov in .380 from a good manufacturer. Something with the same basic design as the other ones but a bit nicer. Maybe made in stainless with some Zebrawood grips (with no lanyard loop).

Ruger Deerfield Carbine in 44mag with extended capacity magazines also an affordable pistol caliber carbine in 10mm and 45acp that takes standard glock 20 and 21 mags.

A UMP45 chambered up for .50 GI. A .50 cal SMG that would be as controllable as a .45 would certainly be interesting.

A unique military-style weapon from a company that makes bespoke weapons for the modern war fighter. PMCs make quite a bit of money. Sure Wilson Combat, Nighthawk, etc. make customized tactical firearms, but they're modifications of existing actions. I wonder what it would be like if a company made unique bespoke combat worthy firearms using their own unique actions. Something like a Peter Hoffer or Holland & Holland for the tactical world without all the proprietary/eccentric cartridge mumbo-jumbo. That would be kinda cool in my opinion.

A Glock that responses to Glock owners saying "That's Why I Own A Glock."...

When something is said about one's own gun and a Glock owner says "maybe you should get a Glock" or something like that, their own Glock would taze them, just a little... hehe

Sorry Glockers, couldn't help it!!!:D
WE "glockers" have plastic grips... you may have a problem with the 1911 steel frames ;)

Handguns that bend the laws of physics and can be soft enough to fire without killing your ears. Maybe a new semi handgun with integrated suppressor and subsonic round tailor made for HD/SD.

Or maybe some new 21st century gun powder that alleviates the need for that.

Something like the Russian silent pistols?

Instead of using the expanding gasses to push the bullet out of the barrel like normal the gasses push a piston that pushes the bullet then traps the gasses inside the casing.

8 shot drum fed shotgun that fires half-starved, rabid raccoons. Alternative ammo would be small hornet nest projectiles...

You do NOT want .44 mag awesomeness on a SP101 frame. BAD juju.

Also, for single stack nines and 40s, look at Tarus PT709 and PT740. I know I just said the T word, but I like mine.

I'd like to have a .44 mag bolt action with a folding stock. Hopefully Ohio will let us use pistol cartridge rifles soon for deer hunting and I think that would be a great rifle for hunting far off the road.

Thats how my nail driver works. Hi powered .22 blank drives a piston which sets the nail.
