Tightgroup,
Have you tried a "Worlds Finest Trimmer"? I actually hunt for more brass to trim now, and am disappointed when Im done. Im a little bit of an oddball though.
Of course, the WFT wouldnt be optimal if you reload many calibers.
I'll have to check into one of those. I've seen them on the net but didn't research them.
I also wish Lee would come out with the old Auto-Prime 2 press top mounted priming system again, but they need to furnish their own shell holder. Hornady shell holders don't work worth a crap with them. RCBS shell holders do pretty good though. They need to put a shaker on them to keep the primers moving down the chute.
If someone made a progressive case feeding dedicated priming press that primed on top of the stroke and eliminated hand feeding cases to it and fed primers reliably, that would be a machine to have.
I trimmed 1000 pieces of 223 over the last day or so. Just took two little sessions. I dont measure each piece, just stick it in, if it trims it, it needed trimming, if it doesnt, it didnt It uses the shoulder to stop the forward movement into the trimmer.
