What other hobbyist group is most likely to drift into the gun hobby?

I quilt but don't find it to be a popular hobby with other gun owners.

Or at least not until they need something sewn.

Especially fun in the military:

You know how to sew? You're such a ***!

(two hours later)

Umm... dude, my pack strap tore out. Can you, like, sew it back on for me?

Don't get me started on braiding 550 cord to make slings...

I also drifted into straight razors and it is surprising how many of us straight users are also shooters and knife enthusiusts.

pyro here

I really enjoy putting together fireworks shows. We use e-fire panels, build "boards" of multiple cakes and use HDPE pipe for mortar racks.
Most of us take a more technical and safe approach than the average
half drunk guy lighting bottle rockets.
Several of my fellow pyros also are into firearms.

I read a lot about military history also.

Hey jhco50 -- I'm another straight razor fan, although I only shave with them for "fun" or on special occasions. I used them full time for about six months and finally switched back to safety razors when the novelty wore off. Definitely the closest shave I've ever had, though.

Got my firdt pistol a couple years ago after purchasing an ATV. I got my CCW, and then got my pistol to carry while riding, Now the ATV is gone, to make room for new Guns!!
