Only one I get anymore, and electronic only anymore is Small Arms Review.
I loved that magazine. Les got it every month and I ate it up. Them I retired. Now, our Books-a-Million is carrying it! After 9 years I get it again!

I don't read any magazines these days - firearms or otherwise. I do watch a lot of YouTube on my Apple TV, and I suppose that's the modern-day equivalent. Lots of gun channels and all kinds of other interesting information and opinion. Lately I've been watching a lot of Ukranian videos of Russians getting blown up.

Thanks guys. I passed on the suggestions to the marketing guy.

If you are looking for a focus group of “everyone”, this place is a bad sample.

What is the product and what segment of potential users do they want to sell to?

American Rifleman through my NRA membership, the others I just peruse at the bookstore. The writers I enjoyed-Askins, Cooper, Jordan, Keith, Skelton-are all gone, the newer ones don't hold my interest. Also since my tastes are conservative the newest exotic cartridges and polymer handguns
don't interest me.

The only magazine I subscribe to now is "American Hunter" from the NRA (Life member). I used to get "North American Hunter" from the
North American Hunting Club - until they went belly up several years ago. :fire:
I have sometimes flipped through assorted magazines in stores when I see an interesting picture or article on the front cover.

I've sworn off the gun press. It's all "product placement" and flack for the gun industry. Have you ever seen an unfavorable review of anything in a gun magazine?

The last one I had really read that was pretty harsh was written by Skeeter but maybe a year ago American handgunner had an article on the new desert eagle caliber and did say that their gun didn't function.

I get the Rifleman simply because I'm an NRA life member. I skim it and throw it away.

The Rifleman is one of the worst offenders when it comes to industry bias. Every product review is favorable. More than favorable -- it verges on fawning praise. And then add to that the self-serving coverage of the NRA's management, and the one-sided political coverage in general, and it becomes a toxic witch's brew.

Yeah. I get handgunner and rifleman. Most never get opened. Sometimes they do if I see something I want to read about but it's about 2/3 political rhetoric and scare tactics. Really annoying since you are already a member of the NRA or you wouldnt be getting the book in the first place.

I get American Rifleman with my NRA membership. I subscribe to Handguns, American Handgunner, Guns and Ammo, Shooting Times, Firearms News, Handloader, RifleShooter, Petersen’s Hunting, Guns, Gun Tests and Gun Digest The Magazine.

Because of my position and duties they’re all business expense write offs for me. :)

Stay safe.

Concealed Carry (USCCA)
I have come across a couple issues of American Handgunner and like that they seem to have a lot of content on revolvers.
Also have pulled a lot of books from local libraries to read up on guns.
